Kaguya-sama: Love is War Episode 7 (Episode Review)
Shirogane wants to work
The guy who previously asked Shirogane is back at it again. This time, after a month of dating he is here to ask how he should hold her hand. Shirogane gets excited as the bar is set low and the advice needed is within his experience. So he ends up proposes an extravagant date. But with the budget of a student, he doesn't have the money to get a boat license and rent a boat. Shirogane's hidden agenda shows, he's trying to recruit him as a part-timer for the summer. The relationship advice ends with the entrance of Shinomiya and Love detective Fujiwara. With our love detective's words "Do your best" the issue is resolved and Shirogane loses, fails at recruiting a part-timer.

The topic of club activities comes up when Ishigami says that they suck. Shirogane and Ishigami are discussing the budgeting for the clubs. Shirogane considers club activities but he doesn't have time because of his part-time job. Ishigami starts going on an anti-youth rant, he wants to cut the soccer club's budget because all of them have girlfriends. Or does he? Actually, not just because they have girlfriends but because they choose to practice over spending time with their significant other. Eventually, Ishigami starts digging himself in a deep hole. They start talking about how Fujiwara is in the table-top board game club and Shinomiya is in the archery club. He earns himself an ass beating when he states that archery fits Shinomiya because of her flat-chestedness and that Fujiwara would have it more difficult because of the big size of hers. After a bunch of whacks from Fujiwara, Ishigami heads home with a will to die and Shirogane is fought over to enter either club to get a bigger budget or for Shinomiya to spend time with him. Shirogane wins with the feeling of a harem fighting over him.
Ishigami earning himself an ass-beating was probably my favorite scene so far. Despite being anti-social he seems to be able to bluntly say anything without a filter. Things still lead him to want to go home wanting to die anyway though.

Fujiwara and Shinomiya are reminiscing about old times. She talks about how in the past Shinomiya used to be known as the "Ice Princess" in middle school and how in the beginning she didn't get along with Shirogane. Now Shinomiya is a lot warmer and smiles more and Fujiwara says that her dream is to see Shinomiya roar in laughter. Her dream was to be realized very soon. She mentions her dog Pesu's tricks and how weird his wiener is. Shinomiya who's been sheltered as a pure rich girl has only recently learned about sex-ed and is at a level where wiener is hilarious to her is now trying to contain herself. Fujiwara notices and teases her until Shirogane enters the room. Fujiwara withdraws but instead tries to get Shirogane to say wiener instead. It ends with Fujiwara's victory as Shinomiya bursts out in laughter.
