Fukigen na Mononokean Tsuzuki episode 7 (Episode review)

With Ashiya's newly gained detection abilities we are to face his banishment again. The Legislator appears in the Mononokean where he has Ashiya choose between a winning- and losing box. This is because of a bet he has with the Executive, Legislator upset by him banishing Ashiya couldn't let go of this easily. Abeno gives Ashiya a hint and he ends up choosing the right box despite him rather not go back where the Executive can come and hurt him. From this Ashiya is now unbanished under the conditions that he is supervised by Justice when he visits. Although the ban is lifted Abeno still stops Ashiya from joining the Legislator on the other side.

Ashiya is not banned anymore with this I expect that he probably will return to the other side later on. This will probably give rise to more threats in the future as there is a possibility that the Executive might go after him anyways. The fact that he agreed on the bet is a bit suspicious and his motives and intentions towards Ashiya are still vague. But with the developments in the last episode, this also might be hinting on Ashiya maybe using influence again either on Executive or someone under him.
